Pobreza no Brasil: nove temas para o novo século

Resumo


O artigo aborda questões como: a economia política das políticas de combate à pobreza, a efetividade comparada de políticas focalizadas e universais, a justiça distributiva das políticas e dos resultados, as dimensões em que se medem a pobreza, o problema da participação dos “beneficiários”, a permanência na pobreza e a relação entre justiça distributiva e desenvolvimento.
