Resumo


Durante os últimos 25 anos do século XX, o mundo mudou a ponto de se tornar quase irreconhecível tanto na esfera econômica como no plano político. Por um lado, as economias nacionais se tornaram mais integradas graças aos fluxos internacionais de comércio, investimento e finanças. Por outro, houve uma mudança profunda no plano da política, com o colapso do comunismo e a consolidação triunfante do capitalismo.
